VIBCON 2025- Cultural Evening

The students and faculties of MIET Kumaon had the privilege of attending the prestigious VIBCON-2025 Conference held at the IVRI Mukteshwar Campus. The delegation was led by Dr. Tarun Saxena, Director of MIET Kumaon, and Dr. Kamal Rawat, CEO of ACIC Devbhoomi Foundation. They were accompanied by faculty members Ms. Neha Rautela from the Nursing Department, Mr. Mohit Suyal and Ms. Gayatri Darmwal from the BBA Department, and Ms. Namita Singh from the Paramedical Department, along with the participating students. The conference provided an enriching platform for students to interact, learn, and showcase their talents. The highlight of the event was the Cultural Night, where MIET Kumaon students represented the diverse cultural heritage of India through vibrant performances. The evening began with a graceful classical dance performance by Mohammad Uvais, setting a serene tone for the night. This was followed by a Rajasthani folk dance by the students of the Nursing Department, who captivated the audience with their colorful attire and energetic moves. The BBA and BCA Departments together represented the culture of Gujarat, delivering a lively and rhythmic Garba performance. The Paramedical Department students then showcased a Haryanvi dance, reflecting the vigor and spirit of northern India. The grand finale featured a Punjabi Bhangra performance by a mix of students from all departments, filling the atmosphere with unmatched enthusiasm and energy. Adding to the evening’s charm, Angel Aman Parihar delivered a mesmerizing rendition of Shiv Tandav, which left the audience spellbound and gave everyone goosebumps. At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Y.P.S. Malik, Director of IVRI, announced the results and declared MIET Kumaon as the winners of the Cultural Night. As a token of appreciation, he awarded ₹11,000 to the students along with certificates and mementos to both students and faculty members of MIET Kumaon, recognizing their outstanding efforts and performances. The following day, the group visited the Mukteshwar Temple to seek blessings and express gratitude for their success and memorable experience. The entire event was a remarkable blend of learning, culture, and celebration. Special appreciation goes to Ms. Swapna Verughese Ma’am for her valuable contribution and dedicated efforts in guiding and preparing the students for the event. The trip to IVRI Mukteshwar for VIBCON-2025 proved to be an unforgettable experience that fostered teamwork, cultural understanding, and institutional pride among all participants.
