2.National conference on trending biotechnological interventions to address and combat Himalayan biodiversity challenges
At a national conference on biotechnological interventions to combat Himalayan biodiversity challenges, Assistant Professor Aayushi Upadhyay presented a paper on showcasing industrial investment and entrepreneurship in Uttarakhand. Four BBA II students participated, discussing topics like seabuckthron entrepreneurship and vermicompost business models for hilly regions.
3. National conference on Impact of Artificial Intelligence, date 30/03/2024
Two BCA II semester students participated in an e-poster presentation at the National Conference on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence held at Indrapriyadarshini Mahila Degree College, Haldwani, on 30th March 2024. Vishal Verma presented “AI in Surveillance Systems” and won the 3rd prize, while Priyanshu presented “Will AI Take Over Your Job?”
4. Intellectual Property Right
On 10 November 2023 a workshop on IPR held on MIET Kumaon Haldwani. The workshop aims to educate faculty members on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and its importance in fostering innovation, economic growth, and protecting creative endeavors.

BBA II year student participated at Poster presentation at International Conference on Emerging Trends in STEM & Health Agri Sciences for Sustainable Development at MIET Kuman. Their topic was business model of vermicompost for hilly areas
