MIET Kumaon BCA Students Shine at Udbhav Bharat ’25 Hackathon with a Remarkable Second Place Finish

Haldwani: The students of MIET Kumaon delivered an impressive performance at the Udbhav Bharat ’25 Hackathon, held on 15 November 2025 at the Nainital campus. Guided by Managing Director Dr. B.S. Bisht and Director Dr. Tarun Saxena, the institute’s BCA team showcased strong problem-solving abilities and technical excellence, earning them the Second Position in the competition.

The team—Saurabh Sanwal, Vishal Joshi, Deepanshu Kapri, Mahesh, and Uday Bhan—presented an impactful project focused on Urban Development, highlighting innovative ideas and practical solutions for modern city planning. Their approach, creativity, and technical execution left a strong impression on the judging panel and placed them among the event’s top performers.

Behind the scenes, Mr. Charanjeet Sidhu, Mr. Anil Kumar, and BCA third-year student Mandeep Tiwari played an essential role in coordinating activities, managing logistics, and supporting the participants throughout the event.
