Workshop on DBMS & RDBMS

A Database Management Systems (DBMS) and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) workshop was conducted for BCA 2nd-year students by Asst. Professor Mr. Anil Kumar at MIET Kumaon. The session was attended by 30 students who actively participated in the interactive learning environment. The workshop aimed to provide a strong foundation in database concepts, including data storage, retrieval, and management using DBMS, as well as understanding the relational model and its applications in real-world scenarios.

Mr. Anil Kumar emphasized practical learning, demonstrating SQL queries, table creation, normalization, and relational mapping techniques. Students were encouraged to engage in hands-on exercises, fostering problem-solving and analytical skills. The workshop also highlighted the future scope of database technologies and their importance in the IT industry, preparing students for professional opportunities in software development, data analysis, and database administration. Overall, the session enhanced both the technical knowledge and industry readiness of the participants.
